- Frequently Asked Questions -

1. Why is it so complicated to order at your shop?

Well, actually it’s not that complicated at all, but I see that it might seem a little more complicated than at “normal” online shops. Now, why is that?
Software that provides customers with a possibility to order their products directly from the site are usually very expensive. There are free options but they’re all limited to ~10 products.
Sadly, I’m not making enough money with this to be able to afford any tools like that, and since I want to provide you with as many different items as possible, I have to live with what it is now.

2. Can you make a living selling this stuff?

Nope. And actually I’m glad I don’t. I’m still a student at university and make all the things you find on this page in my free time. In fact, most of the money you spend on here goes directly into me buying new materials for even more stuff.

 3. There are so many empty categories…

Yeah, I know. If a category is displayed on the site, that means I’ve got some sort of backup for that category – that means either stuff that has been finished for ages but I’m too horribly lazy to put it online, or at least I’m currently planning and/or working on something. I’m a very slow person, however, and I’m sorry to make you wait!

 4. Is there a newsletter so I get the latest news from your shop?

No, I’m not providing a newsletter at the moment and I’m not planning to do so. If you want to get my latest news, however, you can subscribe to the site (menu on the right -> follow) and you’ll get a notification email whenever I post something new.
If you want to keep the noise down but still stay in touch, you can register at WordPress (it’s free and easy) and manage the notifications you want to get there.

 5. I’ve seen a product I like and now I have no idea what to do…

First of all, go to the subpage “How To Buy” in the top menu. Pretty much every question you might have should be answered there. Still not happy? You can always leave me a message in the comments of any post or contact me privately via bakerstreetcorner@yahoo.com

6. Do I have to pay for shipping for every single item I buy?

Of course not! No matter how many products you buy, you always ever pay for shipping only once. However, since the shipping costs are based on weight and size of the products, I have to always charge you the highest shipping cost. For example: You want to order one product with 2.00€ shipping and two with 3.60€ shipping. You’ll pay 3.60€ shipping for your whole order, all other articles are shipping free!

7. I’ve seen that you also sell shirts. Why can’t I order them at your shop?

That’s because I only provide the designs. The shirts are all printed and sold by the professionals over at RedBubble. I have no possibility to do that on my own, and it’s far cheaper for you to order directly at my RedBubble shop than via my online shop.
Of course, most of the money you pay there also goes to RedBubble. I only receive a small fee for each item with my design on it. But that’s ok.

8. Why do you tag some of your products as “hipster”?

Because I think it’s funny.
